Promoting Academic Integrity: Carleton Resources for FYS Instructors

Carleton University has developed resources available to instructors and students that promote academic integrity and foster future academic success. The first way that Carleton helps students avoid academic infringement is through the creation of workshops where students learn how to write well at a post-secondary level.

Academic Integrity Policy- April 2006

The academic integrity policy that was approved by Carleton University senate April 2006 is attached. The policy provides rules against plagiarism, resubmission of work and misrepresentation. The procedure for dealing with such infractions are discussed.
