Learning Support Services- Study Skills Workshops
Submitted by Anonymous on Wed, 2010-10-06 13:34.
Instructors are encouraged to incorporate a certain percentage of their course grade based on students' participation in a certain number of Study Skills Workshops . The exact number required for students to attend is left to the discretion of the instructor, although many instructors require their students to attend 4-5 sessions.
Learning Support Services maintains records of students participating in the Incentive Program by asking for their student card at the beginning of each session and recording which session was attended, and on what date. This information is sent along to instructors either at the end of the fall term, or at the end of the winter term, depending on when it is requested.
Please contact Caitlin MacGregor at x1869 or caitlin_macgregor@carleton.ca for further information.
